Image:Copyright-problem.svg|left|40px|alt=|link=]] This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Wickliffe Stratton (1901-05), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://bestlawyers2013.blogspot.com/2013/07/is-lawyer-attorney-wallpaper-photos.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Wickliffe Stratton (1901-05)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wickliffe Stratton (1901-05) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://bestlawyers2013.blogspot.com/2013/07/is-lawyer-attorney-wallpaper-photos.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. →εϻαdιν ΤαΙk Ͼδητrιβμτιoης 18:16, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of James B. Metcalf (1887- 89)

edit

Hello Washington State Attorneys General,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged James B. Metcalf (1887- 89) for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, James B. Metcalf.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kges1901 (talk) 21:07, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Washington State Attorneys General, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Theroadislong (talk) 21:53, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Washington State Attorneys General (talk) 22:52, 27 January 2015 (UTC)I am new to Wikipedia and when I created my user name it showed in a way that I thought it would be the "title" of the page which is why I chose the user name that I did. If I had known that was not going to be the title of our Wikipedia page I would have selected a more "generic" user name. But since I am new I was not sure what the title would actually be or how to format it. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused and if allowed I can select a more generic user name for our page.Reply

You can request a new username here Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple but please be aware that user accounts are strictly for individuals only and you keep saying "our" page. Theroadislong (talk) 23:05, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Washington State Attorneys General, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Rjd0060 (talk) 00:11, 28 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Rjd0060: I've renamed them. The account can now be unblocked. Ajraddatz (Talk) 07:27, 28 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
