All I can say is... edit

Oops! And thank you, for correcting my oversight in regards to my working draft of The Tipping Point. Yes, I cut and paste in order to work on a draft, and overlooked putting it in my User space. Thanks for correcting the error. When I'm finished, I'll let you know so you can history merge it. I didn't know about that! I'm still learning about Wiki-procedures, so I appreciate the help of admins like you. Happy New Year. --Figureskatingfan (talk) 18:04, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

K, I am now ready for the history merge! I intend to add more to the article, but I think that its quality is sufficient for the article space. Again, thanks for all your help. Go here, please: User:Figureskatingfan/The_Tipping_Point. --Figureskatingfan (talk) 18:33, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Steady rollin.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Steady rollin.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:34, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Footballfan190 adminship edit

Hey, since you are the admnistrator that closed my first request for adminship, I was wondering how many edits I should make to become an administrator. Thank you. Footballfan190 (talk) 00:04, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bob Dylan's 115th Dream edit

Hey, thanks for the info. I went to that page, but I didn't really understand it. It was pretty complicated for a novice like myself. What exactly am I supposed to do? talk —Preceding comment was added at 03:41, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

An answer edit

Yes, I think I would be interested in going through the RFA process. Thanks for your interest in nominating me! However, I'd like you to clarify your question--do you want individual explanations for each image I uploaded being deleted (which I can do), or did you mean something else? Please let me know so I can respond properly. Thanks again! --CrazyLegsKC 02:43, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

New River Picture edit

Ha ha no problem. It is an excellant picture and me living my entire life in WVa I though it appropriate for my userpage :). Thanks a lot for putting it on Wikipedia!Mjs072 (talk) 20:03, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Photo request edit

Hi Keegan, nice picture of Lookout Mtn...your photo is so clear you can see the shadows of the clouds along the slopes. If you're out and about taking photos in the Missionary Ridge area anytime soon, would you mind taking a photo of Ed Johnson's gravestone in the Pleasant Hill cemetary? I'd like to add it initially to the United States v. Shipp article, but I've gathered a file of information to use in creating an article about Johnson, and the gravestone seems to be deteriorating rapidly. If you're interested, here's a link that has a photo of the tombstone (I'm not sure you can read the inscription), along with info and a map at the bottom: http://www.darkfiber.com/tomb/johnson/index.html. Thanks for your help. While you're in the flatlands, please remember to keep at least one foot on the ground at all time so you don't fall off. Flowanda | Talk 01:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please advise edit

I have a rough idea that talk pages can be archived when too long. Is one permitted to edit out entries on one's own talk page? Avalon (talk) 01:10, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

RFA Thanks edit

Thank you for your comments on my RFA. Even though it failed with 28 supports, 42 opposes, and 15 neutrals, I am grateful for the suggestions and advice I have received and I do hope to improve as a Wikipedian. My RfA... edit

Thank you...
...for your participation in my RFA, which closed with 85 supports, 2 neutrals and 1 oppose. I'm extremely grateful for all the the kind comments from so many brilliant Wikipedians I've come to respect and admire, as well as many others I've not yet had the pleasure of working with, and I'll do my best to put my shiny new mop and bucket to good use! Once again, thank you ;)

Chemical warfare edit

I see several questionable edits to chemical warfare, although the URL for where to buy mustard gas, surprisingly, goes to an Australian bookstore (probable spam). Do you know the last stable version?

If not, I will have to go check the CWC to find the reporting amounts and the like; not a big thing, but I realized I didn't have them memorized as I did BW toxins under the Select Agent Program.

Is this edit, a rollback, and if so, is this edit an abuse of the rollback?

Speedy deletion of Talk:Firefox edit

This isn't Jeopardy edit

Stumbled across your page (sorry about the vandalism) & I wonder if you can answer 2 thngs. One, how do you create the talk archive? (I really don't need it yet, but it might be useful someday.) Two, how did you set your signature style? I tried resetting mine in preferences, & it didn't work. Thanks. Trekphiler (talk) 23:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanx. (BTW, I meant vandalism to your page. I've got nothing to hide. Well, nothing on WP. =]). Trekphiler (talk) 02:44, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Popping in to say I fully agree with your response to Ohana...that comment shocked me too. I also responded to you in the discussion section with more on why I opposed, if you're interested. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 10:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regarding said vandal edit

So how in the future should I respond to having come across lists of socks that need to be blocked without creating an AN thread? I won't mention the vandal by name if possible, but usually a name is requested. Would it be better in the future if I contact an admin via e-mail for this?--Urban Rose 13:17, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lady Aleena's RfA edit

Keegan...Thank you for nominating me for adminship. Through it I have become aware of a great many people who can help me in my future editing endeavors. Even though I was not promoted, your nomination shows that I have made good contributions to Wikipedia, even if they were minor edits to fix spelling and grammar to working in WikiProjects to help others make great articles. If you wish to further discuss the nomination, please use its talk page. Stop by my talk page anytime, even if it is just to say hello. Have a wonderful day! - LA @ 03:50, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
