Journey Beginnings of the 3 Ka's

edit

A tag has been placed on Journey Beginnings of the 3 Ka's, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

No assertion of notability (A7), apparent copyright violation (G12)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Chunky Rice 20:28, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, first off, notability on Wikipedia is set by the notability guideline, which you can read here. For some book specific guidelines, you can read this guideline. Basically, you need to show that the book in question has either received attention from multiple secondary reliable sources or that it's won some sort of award or other recognition.
Second, even if the book you are writing about is notable, it is inappropriate for you to just paste the text of it here. Copyright issues aside, Wikipedia is not the place for plot summaries let alone an entire work.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. -Chunky Rice 21:16, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

RPG Job/Class List

edit

Also, I just want to let you know that I'm going to be redirecting this article that you created to the already existing article Character class as it appears to be about the same basic material. This is not to slight your contribution, and I'm sure that any additions you could make to the character class article would be welcome. However, be careful not to add any original research, as that is also against Wikipedia policy. -Chunky Rice 21:22, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

AfD nomination of List of Devil May Cry Demons

edit

An editor has nominated List of Devil May Cry Demons, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Devil May Cry Demons and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:59, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
