Scooby Doo Spooker Coaster (^^) - sammypanda

Wikipedia, and like the history page and stuff is kinda confusing to read so i'm sorry if you're not the one who actually wrote this but on the Spooker Coaster (Gold Coast) page, i'm a newb

All internal theming was torn down due to it being a fire hazard.

how do you actually know this, like was this something that warner brothers or village roadshow said.. not trying to correct the page, i'm just trying to find out why the ride went from being so good to so bad in the "new generation" version (so any other information you might have about that i'd appreciate >.<)

Hi 117.20.64.116, thanks for reaching out! I'm not the one who added the sentence about it being a fire hazard. Looking back through the article history, it seems someone added it without providing a source, so I have removed it from the page. I think someone just added false information, as I did a bit of research on it and could not find any confirmation that Warner Brothers or Village Roadshow said this. A little help?

I recently created a new article for an old direct-to-video Christmas-themed Hanna-Barbera special, Hanna-Barbera's Christmas Sing-A-Long!, but it was moved to drafts until it can be worthy of being an article (it IS a work in progress). Maybe a little bit of help? Visokor (talk) 10:15, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

Thnx! I owe you one. Visokor (talk) 20:02, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Hi Visokor, sorry for the delayed response; I haven't been checking Wikipedia very often anymore. I took a look at the draft and saw it was declined. There were quite a few issues that I noticed with the article, but I believe the main one is lack of references. Articles require notability in order to be able to brought into the mainspace, and notability is measured by amount of reliable sources here. You only had one listed, and it was Discogs, which I believe is user-generated. User-generated websites are not considered sources, since they can be edited by anyone just like Wikipedia and thus somebody could put fake information. I added Spotify in its place, which is not user-generated. I also added some info about the VHS release in 1995, and added another reliable source supporting that (Amazon). Otherwise, there were just some minor typos and some content that was incorrectly formatted for Wikipedia (i.e. we try to avoid parentheses in articles unless absolutely necessary, and song titles should have quotation marks around them). The only other issue was with the "philosophy and religion" category you added. I haven't seen the special, but that seems like a bit of a stretch that a sing-a-long cartoon would dive into issues of philosophy. Typically, it's frowned upon to add a category unless it absolutely fits the article, since otherwise people would spam the article with all sorts of categories.
I think you could try to resubmit now if you wanted. There's still not a lot of sources, so they could decline it again. I think this particular special is a bit of a tricky one since it doesn't seem like there are that many sources out there for it, given it's an obscure special that didn't even get a DVD release, but I think it's worth a shot. I hope this was helpful! Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 20:13, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
For what it's worth, you can view it on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIACc8wdHTM Visokor (talk) 20:17, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
Also unfortunately, "(Declining submission: nn - Submission is about a topic not yet shown to meet general notability guidelines (be more specific if possible)".
Hi Visokor, that's a bummer. It looks like they are wanting sources independent of the source itself; in other words they want sources, that talk about special in-depth, beyond just saying that they exist like the Amazon and Spotify ones do. The YouTube source you linked above unfortunately won't work either, since it appears to be an illegal rip of the VHS. If you can find any other sources that talk about the special, like a review or a news article, that would definitely get it published. That may be hard to find, though, since it's kind of an obscure special. Since Wikipedia reviewers all come in with different interpretations of the policy, it can be sort of hit-or-miss with these specials/films. A lot of the Scooby-Doo film articles don't have very many sources yet they slip through, but with other articles (including this one), Wikipedia reviewers seem to be a bit more divided on what counts as a reliable source and what doesn't. I guess my best advice would be trying to find any sort of publication - whether that be a news article, a video, a review, etc. - that talks about the special beyond just saying that it exists. Sorry I couldn't be of more help here. This is kind of a tough case due to the relative obscurity of the special. FYI, I wasn't intending for the vid to be a source, just so you could watch it or something. Visokor (talk) 20:51, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

Draft:Silly Mountain (Arizona)

Good evening @KatnissEverdeen! Due to an Educational Project, my team and I are creating this draft: Draft:Silly Mountain (Arizona) - as you can see on the Talk Page-. We have published it, but we wanted to ask you if there are ways in which we can obtain the acceptance (or not) of our article as soon as possible. Maybe writing to some users can help us? Thank you very much in advance! Team5DTVanessa (talk) 20:26, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Team5DTVanessa, thanks for reaching out! I looked over your article draft and I think everything looks great. I made some edits, but they were all very minor things for consistency. I put a bunch of comments in the edit history, but if you have any questions about anything I changed or don't understand why I changed something, please let me know and I'll be happy to provide further feedback. Thanks! Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 20:41, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
Many thanks @KatnissEverdeen! You've been so kind! Tomorrow morning my team and I will see more in detail your edits. We want to ask just one more thing: in your opinion, is there any possibility to shorten the approval time of our article (if it will be approved :D ), maybe by writing to some users? Thanks in advance! Team5DTVanessa (talk) 21:51, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
Hi Team5DTVanessa, there's a bit of a backlog with the articles that have been submitted for approval (3,360 at the time of writing this), so there's no guarantee when your article will be officially accepted. Most reviewers review old and new submissions at random, so I've seen articles approved as soon as a few hours, but it can take weeks for others. I don't have the permission level to approve articles; however, if it makes you feel better, I do see one of the AfC reviewers (KylieTastic) made an edit to your page earlier today, so a reviewer has at least seen your article  . If you want to seek other users' feedback on your article, you certainly can, although it wouldn't necessarily speed up the amount of time it takes for your article to be reviewed. If you have any more questions once you review the edits, I'm happy to answer them!   Best, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 00:04, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
Many thanks, everything is clear! Thanks for the patience and kindness! Team5DTVanessa (talk) 00:13, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

Draft: Velca Design

I hope not to bother @KatnissEverdeen, me and other users had to create (for an Educational Project) this draft page: Draft: Velca Design, we have submitted it on 9th of December and we wanted to kindly ask you if you could have a look and tell us how to improve it in order to fix all the mistakes. Thank you for your time.Fraliuc2 (talk) 14:14, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Fraliuc2, I just looked over your article and provided some detailed feedback for you in the page's edit history. It looks good overall; I would say the only consistent issue is just making sure you're adhering to Wikipedia's policy on writing articles from a neutral perspective. In a couple places, there were some sentences that sounded as if you were promoting Velca. An example of this would be things like "impressive numbers," "very long list of customers" and "The irony and catchy slogans used in Velca's advertising campaigns helped them become well-known because they captivated viewers' attention and increased their likelihood of becoming customers." Although their numbers/amount of customers/advertising may be impressive, Wikipedia articles typically try to refrain from making any claims that could be interpreted as promotional, in order to make sure that all articles remain unbiased. Otherwise, I think your article looks good for the most part! I just made a couple other minor grammar/punctuation fixes throughout the article, but there weren't any other notable issues. I hope this is helpful, and if you have any questions about any of my feedback, I'm happy to clarify anything!   All the best, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 03:17, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
Thanks a lot I’ll try to improve it removing all the issues, it is likely to be published in your opinion ? Fraliuc2 (talk) 13:09, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
Hi Fraliuc2, I think if you edit it and make the article sound less promotional, than yes, it's likely that it will be published. I'm not one of the people who makes those decisions though, so I can't guarantee it for certain. Best, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 15:35, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

Draft: Dylan O'Donnell

Good afternoon @KatnissEverdeen! Me and a group of other students are working on creating an article on Wikipedia for an Educational Project. The Draft is the following: Draft: Dylan O'Donnell; we have submitted it for review on 14th of December and we are looking forward to receiving any feedback. Therefore, we would be glad if you could review it, telling us if it needs any improovements or if there are any mistakes that have to be fixed. Thanks in advance for your time!LIUCLucrezia03 (talk) 19:38, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi LIUCLucrezia03! I just looked over your article, and I think it all looks great! I made a few changes, but it was mainly just minor grammar fixes. Also, typically, punctuation goes before a reference, but you were putting it after the reference. I fixed all the instances I saw of this in the article, so you shouldn't need to fix anything. I provided some detailed feedback in the edit history for the article, but otherwise, I think everything looks great! I really enjoyed reading your article; Dylan seems like such an interesting person!   Please let me know if you have any questions or anything else I can help with, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 03:44, 19 December 2022 (
