Page heading: Israel vs Palestine

Given that the name Israel was used by the Jews for the land that they inhabited in the area now referred to as the Middle East from the 12th-13th centuries BCE, until the land was captured and occupied by the Roman Empire in 63 BCE, where they finally crushed the Jewish rebellion in 135 CE and renamed the land they had occupied 'Syria Palaestina' in order to disassociate it from its Jewish inhabitants;

Why does a search for "Land of Israel timeline" on Wikipedia produce the result: "Timeline of the history of the region of Palestine" when the history included in the timeline also spans the periods from first establishment of ancient Israel until the period prior to the area being renamed Palestine by the Roman occupiers, as well as the period of time after the re-establishment of the current State of Israel?

Why not rename the heading for this page "Timeline of the history of the regions of Israel and Palestine"? Kathy wiki edit (talk) 18:08, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
