License tagging for File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf edit

Thanks for uploading File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:06, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf edit

Thanks for uploading File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 23:19, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf edit

Thank you for uploading File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:19, 28 February 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 23:19, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Image question edit

Please stop adding the same question (twice more) to the media copyright questions page that you have already asked twice previously and each one has been answered at WP:MCQ#File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf. If you don't understand the answer please add to the existing post and don't just ask the same question again and again. We have tried to help you but posting repetitively is unhelpful to all of us. Please remember we are all volunteers here. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 19:18, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I provided a new reply at WP:MCQ#File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta)pdf.pdf 2
You listed the source as "Ross Studios, Grafton Street, Dublin": How did you actually get it from them? —teb728 t c 23:03, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta).pdf edit

A tag has been placed on File:Joseph Brennan (Clan na Poblachta).pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
