Overlinking

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contributions. Please note that dates, years, and commonly known words are not linked without good reason. Here's my recent fix of an article you started. I'll fix the article title now (en dash, not hyphen). Tony (talk) 08:38, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Taiwan

edit

Please do not tell me that Chinese Taipei not exists, or something else, i do not fancy any political movement. To be fair Taiwan also not a recognised name by United Nations, so to be consistent across Olympics, i will use IOC designation, if you point at Russia, is the name of Russia dismissed forever? Or you the rights has been sold to Russia before they being banned? --Aleenf1 23:00, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

What are you talking about? Kosovo is also not recognized by UN. They are there. And yes, Russia was banned before it received sponsorship rights. It was banned in 2016. --KanzazKyote (talk) 23:05, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ya, IOC is irrelevant, and do yourself right enough, when Russia actually banned from using "Russia", check again. --Aleenf1 01:34, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
It was banned when they banned it. It has not been allowed to compete under "Russia" for several events.--KanzazKyote (talk) 03:37, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
