Welcome! edit

Hello, Kacosta0405, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Top 5 Article Choices edit

  1. Fictional world of The Hunger Games
    • This one is a bit difficult -- it really does have too much information and needs a strong hand to come in here. Someone has recently suggested that they would do so. You could potentially work with them on this (see if they are still poking around). But know that there are also some active other editors who have recently engaged on the talk page. So you would have to be very vocal about any major edits. Etherfire (talk) 17:54, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
  1. Bill Skarsgard
  1. Violence in art
    • This one is perfect. It's going to be some work, but it's exactly the kind of thing we need. Everyone knows it is an essay and has original research problems (WP:NOR) but no one has taken the time to fix it. So it has wallowed for ten years. Etherfire (talk) 17:54, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
  1. 2019–20 vaping lung illness outbreak
    • Let's avoid this one. It's an on-going story and has clear problems -- people who are biased coming in and adding stuff. Once the dust has cleared, we'll need the kind of work this project focuses on to come in and figure out what needs to remain. But we're not there yet. 1. Pumpkin Pie
    • This one is not as much work as the violence one and a very different task, but clearly needs work. I think that you should do this one with the violence in art one. It's a good pair. Etherfire (talk) 17:54, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
