Baro-Bhuyan edit

Please do not remove properly referenced text. Chaipau (talk) 19:13, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

That text is irrelevant, don't say anything about "Baro-Bhuyan". KPAhmed (talk) 20:12, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

People of Assam edit

I have reverted your edits because you have not cited. "Please read..." is not citation. Your edits in the talk page show that you do not understand the difference between a journal and a journal article. And now you are unable to grasp what citing means. Kamarupa edit

Kamarupa means a kingdom that ceased to exist in the 12th century. It makes no sense to say that a 15th century invasion occurred there. If you keep inserting these issues, I shall report you for WP:DE. Chaipau (talk) 02:42, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

I think i should report you. KPAhmed (talk) 02:54, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
The Muslim invasions are given at the bottom of the article. But they all happened outside the context of the Kamarupa kingdom. After the Kamarupa kingdom ended a much smaller region came to be called Kamrup. It was this region to which Alauddin referred to in his coins. So his conquest is out of context in Kamarupa. The Ahoms, on the other hand, specifically referred to the Kamarupa kingdom in their claims.
Kamarupa and Kamrup are different entities and they existed in different times.

Stop comparing notion of kamarupa with raj era kamrup territory. KPAhmed (talk) 13:45, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Chaipau: I am not going to waste my precious time in edit warring with you. I request you to take third opinion. I am speaking about notion of kamarupa. Both muslim and ahom have nothing to do with original kingdom but muslim also ruled western and southern part of erstwhile kamarupa kingdom. KPAhmed (talk) 13:57, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

DS Alert IPA edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
