  Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Zac Efron do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Yamla 16:24, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

No rumours

  Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to High School Musical 3. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. --Yamla 16:29, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

January 2008

edit

  When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to List of Hannah Montana episodes, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. NrDg 05:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Girly-Girl (album)

edit

A tag has been placed on Girly-Girl (album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Unsourced article about unreleased 2nd album. Any relevant content that can be sourced can be added to the main article.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Exxolon (talk) 20:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Cheetah Girls: The Rise to Fame

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Cheetah Girls: The Rise to Fame, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.DCFan101 (talk) 01:04, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of The Cheetah Girls: The Rise to Fame

edit

I have nominated The Cheetah Girls: The Rise to Fame, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Cheetah Girls: The Rise to Fame. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?DCFan101 (talk) 01:04, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted said article. Please remember that additions to Wikipedia must be backed up by reliable sources. Wikipedia is not a place for speculation, rumors, fanfic, or wish lists of future titles. —C.Fred (talk) 16:34, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Wild Things: In the Night (film)

edit

A tag has been placed on Wild Things: In the Night (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Booglamay (talk) 17:17, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding speculation to page

edit

Please stop adding rumors and speculation about non-existent movies to Wikipedia articles. You have been warned to stop doing this before - if you keep on doing this, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NeoChaosX (talk, edits) 18:51, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as The Cheetah Girls: On The Rise, you will be blocked from editing. —C.Fred (talk) 21:27, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Ashley Tisdale's Untitled 2nd Album, you will be blocked from editing. Do not create an article until a reliable source (of which blogspot is not) publishes substantial information about it. —C.Fred (talk) 22:38, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Hsm4.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Hsm4.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:55, 13 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 17:55, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:ParisHilton BFF 2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ParisHilton BFF 2.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:09, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:ParisHilton_BFF_2.jpg)

edit

  Thanks for uploading File:ParisHilton_BFF_2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:16, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
