Disambiguation link notification for November 27 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Consolas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alan Walker (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:28, 27 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Shape Of You edit

Hi, I see you recreated the redirect at Shape Of You which was previously deleted as the work of a sockpuppet. It's not used anywhere. You don't seem to have had any interest in Ed Sheeran songs before or since. So I'm left with the question, Why? Do you have a connection with the blocked user Colemihaljevich or any of his sockpuppets?

At the same time you recreated SM Development Corporation which had previously been created by another blocked user Magtanduay101. Again, you have shown no interest in the topic before or since so, again, Why?

Please explain. Cabayi (talk) 09:14, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Uhm, I seriously do not know him. All I did is add redirects and nothing else. Josstiyn (talk) 14:46, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Using the album cover file on one of its singles' articles edit

Hello. Regarding an edit you made in November 2019 on Different World (Alan Walker song), I thought it was important to clarify to you that we do not re-use the album cover file on Wikipedia for the single when music services assign the album artwork to the single. There is precedent for not doing this, and also because laws around the use of copyrighted images on Wikipedia are strict (WP:NFCC) and there has to be a very good reason as to why, and an additional summary (supplied on the file page) for the use of that file on more than one article. Music streaming services only use the album cover for a single when that single does not have its own artwork. That does not make the album cover "also the cover for the single"—it simply means the single did not have individual artwork made for it. Thank you. Ss112 07:54, 23 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
