May 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Scientology are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Talk:Withdrawal from the European Union edit

Reluctantly I have to agree with the reversion of your edit to Talk:Withdrawal from the European Union, because it was not about how to improve the article or to seek consensus for changes to it. WP:NOTFORUM is the relevant policy.

However if [and only if] you can find a reliable source that has said what you did, then it should certainly go in the article itself. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 12:16, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Article talk pages exist to discuss potentially controversial changes to the article, not as forum to give us your opinion on the subject. If you feel that the article is deficient, say what needs to be added and where, explaining why (with citations), WITHOUT giving us your personal opinion about it. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 13:55, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

June 2023 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Domino's are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:37, 13 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

I was trying to post an update on the talk page about Domino's having closed down in Denmark. Talk page seems to be a good place for such update. Since I don't know how to do those changes my self to the page it self. Jonfr (talk) 23:40, 13 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
