Thanks for uploading Image:RicardoGardner.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Quentin X 11:00, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Please don't remove the replaceable fair use tag. If the image is thought to be OK an administrator will remove it. (Quentin X 11:14, 10 December 2006 (UTC))

Non-league players up for deletion

Hi, I totally agree with what you said about those articles that are up for deletion. I myself have put a lot of work into those York City articles.. some wikipedians are just so ignorant. -- Mattythewhite 18:16, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your support. I don't understand what the big deal is? I mean I have created most of, if not all of the Tamworth players and put alot of time and effort into it, and it pisses me off to thing that some ignorant dickhead can just come along and delete it off because said player has not played 200 times for Manchester United! no chance! I'm not taking it lying down. Thanks again. -- Jonesy702 18:44, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks chaps, much appreciated. HornetMike 00:47, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm not in the mood for your pointless sarcasm. -- Mattythewhite 15:05, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

I think HornetMike fancies me as he's checking up on me. I'm not that kind of bloke, but thanks for the interest. I'm quite flattered. -- Jonesy702 16:24, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately not. I came on here to clarify what I meant when talking about user pages without bogging down the AFd. Still, you wouldn't want to go out with me - I'm an ignorant dickhead! HornetMike 23:17, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
You know what, I couldn't have put it better myself, have a gold sticky star! I wouldn't go out with you as I'm not gay as well, but each to their own I suppose. GAY PRIDE! -- Jonesy702 00:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

AfD Nomination: Lee Moore (footballer)

An editor has nominated the article Lee Moore (footballer) for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lee Moore (footballer). Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Lee Moore (footballer) during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Jayden54Bot 13:38, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Your comments at the AFD were a little overboard. You may want to read WP:CIVIL and WP:CALM and WP:SPIDER. I signed the comments for you. You should always sign your comments on talk pages using ~~~~. Lastly, the deletion of an article that you've worked hard on is not a reflection of you or your editing ability. It's just Wikipedia saying "this isn't notable for an encyclopedia". This guy looks like he might become quite famous. So if he does by doing something famous (like scoring the winning FIFA goal!), you can recreate the article at that time. Thank you, I hope you have a good day. --MECUtalk 20:05, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

No personal attacks

Oh I'm ever so sorry Navou my sweetheart, I never meant to make you cry, babycakes. It will never happen again, you mean too much to me my love.

  • Everyone has their own personal style. Whether or not your style is abrasive to me is of no consequence. I do not cry. Scanning your last 1k edits or so, you have some good contributions. I just wanted to point this out. I do not want you to feel disenfranchised regarding this encyclopedia. Everyones notable contributions are important. Please just keep my above statement in mind. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. Regards, Navou banter 00:53, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
That is factual incorrect Navou, you do cry, everyone does. I'm not calling you a big baby, even if you are. You stay safe and say no to drugs ;-) Jonesy702 19:07, 10 February 2007 (UTC) There's your signature there bab!

Spamming

This topic has already been posted on this talk page. It's not necessary to be posted twice. It was posted by Michaelas10 originally. Please remove it as there is no place for it on Wikipedia... like all the Tamworth player profiles I made. Jonesy702 19:10, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Ludovic Quistin

A tag has been placed on Ludovic Quistin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Springnuts 19:33, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

I am still editing this page, please be patient. I know you have nothing better to do than delete my work off, but let me finish first. Jonesy702 19:36, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed that you removed the {{db}} tag from the page. Please don't do that on pages youve created - you can place a {{hangon}} tag instead. Also, the consensus after discussions at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football is that players who have not played in full professional leagues (in England's case, League 2 and above) are not notable enough to have Wikipedia articles. Ytny (talk) 20:51, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Ludovic Quistin has played in an English full professional league, as he played for Wycombe Wanderers. As this is the case, please remove your deletion tags off. Thanks Jonesy702 20:56, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
According to the article, he only had a trial and never made the first team. I'm looking around but I can't find any evidence that Quistin has played any official matches above the Conference level. And again, don't remove the deletion tag since you are the article creator. Thanks. --Ytny (talk) 21:02, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
lol, you really don't have anything better to do? do you sleep at your desk with you computer on? when was the last time you saw daylight? have you ever been out on the lash with your mates? do you even have mates? not friends of world of warcraft in Australia, but real friends? just curious... Jonesy702 21:05, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ytny (talk) 21:06, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Can you please explain to me how that was an personal attack? I was simply asking you a question, whether you decided to reply was up to you, but to put another one of your silly tags was just stupid wasn't it my friend. I love you. Jonesy702 21:15, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
You're either being incredibly obtuse or really thick, and I don't think you're stupid so I have to assume you were clearly implying that I don't have a life. That' a personal attack, yes? It's obvious you're taking the deletion personally. I understand no one like being told their contributions aren't important enough, but articles get deleted all the time. There are a lot of thing that don't meet Wikipedia's notability criteria, and the articles you wrote just happened to be a few out of billion. Your problem is with the policy, not me, so go have your say at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football.
And to answer your questions, I was in fact "out on the lash" with my mate, a little too much so, which explains why I'm inside nursing a hangover. Thank you for your interest in my personal life. Ytny (talk) 21:24, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, calling me really thick is just plain rude. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Jonesy702 21:35, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Btw: you can't have found it offence if you are replying to the "out on the lash" comment with logic response, seriously though you really have real friends?

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Springnuts 22:16, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
