Hi, this is my talk page. If you want to talk to me, please leave me a message here and I will reply here.

{{admin help}} I'd like to see the deleted article "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Prize_Fight&action=edit&redlink=1" that appears to have been deleted by "William M. Connolley" but is not mentioned in his deletion log http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&limit=500&user=William+M.+Connolley&type=delete&month=&year=

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards, John.

Hi, i have converted the {{helpme}} tag into an {{admin help}} one, as only Wikipedia administrators cans provide copies of deleted articles. BTW, the article you mention is on the log (see here). Cheers, and sorry i couldn't be of further assistance, benzband (talk) 15:01, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Also, i forgot to mention but it is best to sign your messages on talk pages by placing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your posts; this will automatically insert your username and the date. Happy editing, benzband (talk) 15:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
The entire content of the article was:

The Prize Fight is a former ska band that originates in the musical underground of Pennsylvania. The band's official line up consists of Johnny Hunter (Guitar/Vocals), Nick Margiotta (Guitar), Mike "Ace" Coonan (Bass/Vocals), and Ryan "Ryno" Zimmaro (Drums). Bands like The Starting Line backed them on the Screaming is for Babies Tour. They have released two EPs. The "Words Don't Mean Anything EP" was their first record while still holding a horn section. After one horn member decided to leave to continue schooling, the band was left to create a whole new sound. "The Process EP" was laster released in 2006 with TDR Records.

On the Wikipedia page "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxidermy" is a line that says "Another important practitioner was Edward Hart, whose The Prize Fight series depicts a boxing match between two red squirrels."... and the Hyperlink points to the deleted page in question ... so it seems that the hotlink is in error, or there is a different deleted "The Prize Fight"? It just means that there was most likely never an article about that specific "The Prize Fight", an article doesn't have to have been created and deleted to make it linkable, often they're linked as an encouragement for someone to create the article in the first place, but there is nothing to stop you removing the link--Jac16888 Talk 15:39, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your edits on Talk:Miller effect edit

I have reverted them. Inserting interstitial new comments into a thread that is many years old has several undesirable effects. Most importantly it breaks the flow of the conversation and can make it appear that people are replying to something they did not reply to, or even cahnge the meaning of their post entirely. It also stops bots from effectively archiving old conversations. It's much better to start a new thread, but if you really have to post to an old thread, post it to the bottom so it is clear to everyone the relationship of the comments.

Feel free to put your comments back as a new thread if you wish, but the article negative impedance converter (and perhaps even more relevant negative resistance#Active resistors – negative resistance from feedback) might help you to understand the difference between an inductor and a negative capacitor, and what the Miller capacitance is doing to the amplifier. An inductor has increasing impedance with frequency. The magnitude of the impedance of a capacitor, whether negative or positive, decreases with frequency. So although it is possible to find a value of inductor that has the same impedance as a negative capacitor at a single given frequency, it will not behave as a negative capacitor across the whole band.
