PROD of MyCoke from almost a year ago

Forgive me for asking this late, but I noticed that you PRODded MyCoke's now-nonexistent article successfully as a 'non-notable corporate gimmick'...I'm just wondering, how is an ex-online world that used to have 7,000 people on a day at its height and ran several television advertisements a non-notable corporate gimmick? Here's an article on it when it was in its heyday: http://www.clickz.com/clickz_print&id=3314111 One (talk) 06:59, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to know how my polite question constituted 'crying over spilt milk'. I don't really care what happened to the article one way or another; I just get a bit concerned from time to time about overzealous PRODding or imagetagging, be it in the name of 'being bold' or any other policy. Either way, thank you for replying. I really do appreciate it. One (talk) 08:48, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Image copyright problem

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The New York Times history contribution

Hi, Why was my contribution to NY Times history deleted? If you read the reference, I think you would agree that there is justified speculation about the future of NY Times and the likelihood of a very drastic change in the near future, at the very least. Czech alphabet

Ahoj Hexagon. I just wanted to ask , since you are a native speaker of Czech, how many words exist that are only one letter long? I know of "v" (in) and "z" (from), but I have a feeling there are more... Cheers, BalkanFever 12:31, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. It's just out of interest, since I noticed Slavic languages have a few single-consonant words whereas Germanic and Romance don't (as far as I know)... BalkanFever 14:51, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
No problem. It implies that I've taken the actual wiki-space/internet location of my talk page (by force) and have claimed it as part of Melbourne, which is my real-world location. But maybe I'm wrong, since I just copied the code off someone else's talk page (can't remember who) :). BalkanFever 15:16, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
A bit of the inauguration and a bit of internet surfing. You may have gathered from the timestamp of this reply that I went to sleep :). And while you're in Sydney, not to rub it in or anything, have fun seeing Radek, Tomáš, Lucie and Iveta on Channel 7. Who knows, you may even spot me in the crowd... Touché, my friend. BalkanFever 10:20, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I saw bits and pieces but I couldn't remember much when I woke up, and the speech is on Youtube anyway. The large majority of the world agrees with you :). It's a new dawn (we hope). BalkanFever 11:53, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Indeed. The same goes for you at my page. Dobrou noc. BalkanFever
