Talkback edit

Hello, Joe stelfox. You have new messages at Dusti's talk page.

Ambassador information edit

Hi Joe stelfox! Just a follow up to see how you're faring with the Ambassador program and your workload? A quick request.. I've got to tag your userpage with some information, so could you provide me with the Project you're working with and the class? Thanks! Dusti*poke* 06:03, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violation edit

An addition that you made on 21 February 2011 to Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. -- Donald Albury 12:44, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Further Consideration edit

Donald Albury, I felt proper citation and consideration where given to my source, http://www.hg.org/articles/article_302.html/. However, I respect your opinion and action is this matter, as it is the hope that all wikipedians will attempt to follow the letter of the law. In the future, I would greatly appreciate any noticeable issues come with a way to rectify the problem. By providing solutions in the future I will be able to rectify the problem, and share any new acquired skills with my peers as we work through the US Public Policy Project. Once again, I appreciate your involvement in the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act.

When you leave a message for another user on your own talk page, just to make sure that they have been notified about that, you may want to use a "talkback" template like {{talkback}} (there's documentation, including "purpose" and how to use it at that page). :)

Mentoring edit

Hi there, Sross contacted me and asked me to take Dusti's place mentoring you (he has apparently permanently retired). It looks like Cindy Allen is your professor and that this page says that you're working on Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act? Have you edited Wikipedia before this? It would be extra work for you, but you may step through my Adoption courses if you'd like -- they are a fairly comprehensive overview of how things work. You can find them at User:Banaticus/Adoption if you're interested. Also, in the previous section of this talk page, I left a comment about when to use the talkback template. If you'd like any further help, contact me on my user talk page or put a {{help me}} template up on your own user talk page and someone will be along to help you. :) Banaticus (talk) 01:46, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

On Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act you've done a pretty good job so far -- the benefits section has no references, but that seems fairly easy to fix as it seems like you could just reference the relevant portions of the Act itself. By the way, if you use the same reference more than once on the same page, you can use the name attribute to make it explicitly show up as cited twice. I just did that with a duplicate reference -- see my latest edit on that Act page. :) Banaticus (talk) 06:24, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I haven't seen you around for a while, I hope everything's ok. If you'd like any further help, contact me on my user talk page or put a {{help me}} template up on your own user talk page and someone will be along to help you. :) Banaticus (talk) 19:10, 22 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

GOCE drive newsletter edit

Invitation from the Guild of Copy Editors

The Guild of Copy Editors invites you to participate in their September 2011 Backlog elimination drive, a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy editing backlog. The drive will begin on September 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and will end on September 30 at 23:59 (UTC). We will be tracking the number of 2010 articles in the backlog, as we want to copy edit as many of those as possible. Please consider copy editing an article that was tagged in 2010. Barnstars will be given to anyone who edits more than 4,000 words, with special awards for the top 5 in the categories "Number of articles", "Number of words", and "Number of articles of over 5,000 words". See you at the drive! – Your drive coordinators: Diannaa, Chaosdruid, The Utahraptor, Slon02, and SMasters.
