Re:The Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie

edit

There's a good chance that this will be wiped off before you get a chance to see it, but basically we cannot do anything about the AfD consensus about The Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie. Because it was redirected via WP:AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie (2nd nomination) by User:TParis, you cannot argue for its recreation at WP:REFUND. At this point the best course of action would be to just discuss this at the article's talk page and slowly collect coverage to help support a re-creation when the film completes and releases. The big issue here so far is that the coverage for the film appeared to be mostly WP:PRIMARY or WP:TRIVIAL, meaning that the coverage came predominantly from the AVGN crew themselves (or reprinted nearly as-is or heavily based on press releases) or that if it was mentioned in an independent source, that it was very brief in mention and couldn't really be considered in-depth coverage. Some of the sources you gave at REFUND could be usable, such as this one, but the rest were either trivial (meaning that the focus of the article was not on the film, which was mentioned in passing) or they were released directly by the people involved in the film, such as this link. I think that it'd be best to wait until after the film has released and has received reviews from reliable sources, especially given how long the crew has been working on the film.
