Hello, I'm Katieh5584. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Tony Penikett, with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Katieh5584 (talk) 20:06, 25 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

If there's additional information about his current activities that should be added to the article, then we're happy to work with you to ensure that it gets into the article. However, your preferred version did not even acknowledge the fact that he had ever even been Premier of Yukon at all, even though that is in and of itself the only reason why he even has an article on Wikipedia in the first place. The information is all properly sourced and neutral, and none of it is unfavourable or inappropriate — so I fail to understand what the problem is. People don't get to decide that they don't want a Wikipedia article, or that they don't want the main reason why they even qualify for one in the first place to be acknowledged — we'll remove content from the article if it's wrong (which it isn't here) or if it's unfairly biased (which it also isn't), but we're not going to pretend that a person didn't even hold an office that he did in fact hold. If there's content in the article that's incorrect, then we're happy to fix it, but his political career cannot be completely excised from the article, as he wouldn't even qualify to have an article without it. You're welcome to discuss your concerns at Talk:Tony Penikett, but for the time being the article has been editprotected so that you cannot alter it at all.
