some remarks concerning your sandbox

Hai Jimsally,

sorry, I can't remember your real name.

You've done a good job until now. As Wikipedia depends fully on voluntary contributions as far as the content is concerned (there are no paid editors), your help is welcome.

It is a bit of a pity that you only describe the first volume of the work. I think it would be a great enhancement if you could first at least shortly describe the whole work.

Is it perhaps a good idea to use the Template:infobox book at the beginning of the article, which creates the infobox on the right, like in An Authentic Account of an Embassy from the King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China.

Concerning the bibliographic information:

Perhaps you can start this section by using the template:cite book, like this:

The paragraph "Reception" in this form is not a real contribution to Wikipedia. There are no sources for your statements, so to my opinion this text cannot be maintained in this form. Perhaps you can change the order of your argument: a. there are no texts, containing a critical reception etc. (can you proof that? It's always difficult to proof that there is no critique) b. the book was not censored (how could you proof that?) And next: On the latter ground it may be assumed etc. Is there anything known about the second edition? Was it a reprint? Are there any differences betwee the second and first ed? If not this could be a proof of the popularity of the book in those days.
