Help request edit

: Hello, my name's Jim Sullivan. On Entertainment Reference Desk, is it ok for me to ask questions about events in a Particular Episode for Law & Order SVU?(JimSullivan123 (talk) 17:20, 3 February 2012 (UTC)).Reply

Greetings. To answer your question, it really depends on the question. If you're asking about a particular component of a show (such as a song that plays in the background, or the appearance of a particular actor), those questions are welcome. However, questions about a character's motivations (such as "is Character X upset because Character Y did Incident Z") are more subjective and up to the given respondent's opinions. These questions are more in line with what is found in a forum on the show, and Wikipedia is not intended to be a discussion forum. I hope this answers your question, but if you need additional clarification, please feel free to respond here or on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing! --McDoobAU93 19:26, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
