Image upload edit

Hi Jgoodliffe, I can see that your recent uploaded image File:Standage.jpg was copied from here and I've deleted it as a copyright violation. Please note that we cannot accept images taken from websites, unless the source site has a free licence or the image meets the non-free content criteria - Peripitus (Talk) 22:45, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm also deleting File:Mgdh.jpg is it is a copyrighted painting ("Michael Goodliffe as "Hamlet" by Aubrey Davidson Houston") and will fixup the licensing for File:Windmc.jpg as it is clearly not a public domain work - Peripitus (Talk) 22:49, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Michael Goodliffe portrait edit

You deleted the picture of Michael Goodliffe which I orginally uploaded and entered into his page on Wikipedia. This is a picture of my father. It is a photo commissioned and paid for by me with the consent of the estate of the artist. I have now restored it and should be grateful if you would leave it there please. That all looks fair enough. It was not clear in your original upload that the painting was commissioned by the family (and I think I didn't twig that your and his surnames were identical)...Please accept my apologies for this - Peripitus (Talk) 00:45, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

April 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Miser, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 13:24, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
