Hello, Jessicajoseph, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

  • Hi Jessica! Just wanted to drop a quick note - be careful when editing, as your recent edit placed a source in the middle of a word. It's no biggie - I fixed it for you, but just be cautious about that since it's easy to accidentally do this. What likely happened is that you probably accidentally clicked on the article space while accessing the cite option from the drop down menus, then when the cite template was added, it was added in the place that was accidentally clicked. It happens all the time, honestly. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:51, 12 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
