About Alexandre Mars edit

Hello, Jennchowdhury! I notice that this username, Jennchowdhury, seems to have taken over where User:Andamanes left off, in the discussion on Ritchie333's talk page. I didn't notice this change so I posted a message on Andamanes' talk page, but it may be better directed to you - if you are now the person we are talking to about this. My note is as User talk:Andamanes#About that article. Please read it, and respond either there or here if you are the person I should be talking to.

BTW when you post a comment on a talk page, please sign it - using Wikipedia's automatic signing function. You can do that by typing four tildes ~~~~ . Or simply put your cursor at the end of the note and click on the box that looks like a signature, in the row of boxes you can see above the editing window when you are editing. That will automatically generate your username signature as well a date and time stamp. Like this: --MelanieN (talk) 23:55, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I have done some research on Alexandre Mars and found he has been in the news quite a bit since 2010, and we might (emphasis mine) be able to spin an article out of that. Based on that, I have rewritten a draft from scratch which is now in Draft:Alexandre Mars. Any news articles that talk about Scroon, Phonevalley or criticism of AOL, Google and Facebook (with quotations) are worth looking at. I found one source in Le Monde talking about the Epic Foundation, and there may be more, but that doesn't seem to be his main claim to notability. He already has a link from Blackberry Ltd, being the former CEO of Scroon when it was sold to Blackberry, which is good news as it means the article is not an orphan.
You should improve the draft further, using the citations to reliable sources I have put in as a guide. When you are happy with the draft, click on the green "Submit your draft" button and it will be reviewed by an independent third party? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:10, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks so much! I'll continue to work on the draft Jennchowdhury (talk) 14:21, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

multiple accounts? edit

Hello, Jenn! I am very concerned about this new user, Jennepicfoundation. That account sounds a lot like it is you. As I explained to you earlier, Wikipedia DOES NOT ALLOW a person to post under more than one account, except in very limited circumstances. In fact it is considered a very serious offense to use a second account and pretend it is someone else. That is called sockpuppetry and it can result in all the accounts being blocked. I know that you are new here and don't understand a lot of these issues, but it is very important that you clarify the relationship between Jennchowdhury and Jennepicfoundation - and if they are both you, to admit it, choose which one you want to continue using, and ask to have the other one blocked as a mistake. And then never create any additional accounts for yourself. As you know Ritchie and I have tried to be friendly and cut you some slack, but we cannot let this kind of thing pass. --MelanieN (talk) 16:27, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Melanie, yes I am very confused. I have only used one account (jennepicfoundation) this whole time. I'd love to block Jennchowdhury, I have no idea how this even started. Jennepicfoundation (talk) 16:41, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Okay, account is now blocked. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:50, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Jenn, your explanation doesn't make sense. The account Jennchowdhury has been here since May, and is still posting actively. The account Jennepicfoundation is brand new as of today. The two accounts are posting simultaneously, answering questions posed to the other account, they are obviously both you and both active. This needs to be clarified IMMEDIATELY.
(Edit conflict) I see that while I was posting this, your account was blocked. It will stay blocked until this situation with the two accounts is straightened out. By the way, you can still post here on your talk page even though you are blocked. --MelanieN (talk) 16:53, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
