Trying to restore order
I noticed that you reverted some of the styling changes I made to 2019 Baltimore Ravens season and indicated that you were trying to achieve some consistency with the previous season's page. But I was hoping you would consider allowing my changes so that this year's Ravens' page is consistent with the pages of every other 2019 NFL team. Also the page is some what out of chronology with the regular season schedule being followed by the post season schedule instead of having the regular season schedule and scores being followed by the regular season game summaries. Your thoughts? «Marylandstater» «reply» 19:06, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Marylandstater: I wouldn't say there is conformity in the rest of the league, as there are plenty of teams' season articles with the scedules grouped under on heading and the game summaries under another (See several recent Patriots articles). In terms of "chronological" order, Wikipedia articles are not intended to tell a story in order of when the events happened. It is an encyclopedia intended to give information on a topic. In this style of article, I see it as 2 categories: the schedules, which are presented in chart form for a quick snapshot of the team's season; and then the game summaries, which are intended to give a more detailed look at each game. If a reader wants that snapshot of the season, why should he or she have to look in 3 different places for preseason, regular season, and postseason games?
