May I ask? edit

Is the school you were talking about at Teahouse possibly Chesterton High School? Please let me know, as I will leave it alone and let your students have at it. Although it is rated "start" now, I think it is almost ready for a re-evaluation without any work. If your students are going to do it, I will stand back and let them fix it up. I have an interest in this article because I am from NW Indiana (Hobart) and no longer live there. Good luck in any case. I hope you go through with your student assignment. I think the kind of writing (referenced expository/journalistic) that you have to do on Wikipedia is great discipline for college level writing. If you do have your students work on it, let me know so I can request a re-evaluation for them. Gtwfan52 (talk) 20:18, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this is the page we are hoping to work on. I am in the process of collaborating with the content teacher to create the assignment guidelines, and we are trying to find out what types of information our local museum/history center has archived. Our students probably won't be on here for at least a month. We will have them create accounts and play in the sandbox area first. Thanks! Jcarney 77 (talk) 19:30, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Jcarney77Reply
