Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account from editing. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:52, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

AfC notification: Draft:Circle Line (2023 Film) has a new comment

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Circle Line (2023 Film). Thanks! – robertsky (talk) 01:10, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Do rewrite the sypnosis, instead of copy and pasting from IMDB. It constitutes copyright violation. There's no way to verify if the text on IMDB is written by who or when publicly. If you want to use the same text, assuming that you are the writer on IMDB, read my comment in the draft again on the process of donating the text. – robertsky (talk) 23:33, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, if you are thinking of changing the text on IMDB, don't as it has been archived (https://web.archive.org/web/20221201080819/https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6562232/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl), thus would be still checked as copyright violation. – robertsky (talk) 23:41, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
where can I view your previous comments? seems like all previous comments have been deleted. Jasonatomensstudios (talk) 00:27, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
It is at the top of the draft... and not deleted. – robertsky (talk) 03:03, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
In any case, Whpq has dropped a notice below regarding the copyright matter. Cheers. – robertsky (talk) 03:04, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Robertsky, noted on the dontate text option. we will draft up a new synopsis for our movie and re-edit accordingly.

https://peabe28.wixsite.com/phoebe-rae/single-post/2020/01/15/circle-line-the-monster-in-our-midst. This needs the actual publication, rather than on a writer's website. Otherwise, it is likely to be taken as a blog/primary source. – robertsky (talk) 11:37, 4 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Jasonatomensstudios! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 00:49, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
