Thank you for rewriting the article so quickly! The perfect way to do it would have be put the rewrite at Hermann Graf/Temp and restore the copyvio notice. Then the admin closing the copyright violation case just has to delete the page Hermann Graf and move the new page over the old one. Thanks again, Kusma (討論) 15:44, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have put a notice on the Copyright problems page and also announced your new article at Portal:Germany/New article announcements. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 22:00, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

John Stebbins

edit

John Stebbins has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/agency/army/2-2in.htm. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, after describing the release on the talk page. Commercial use of Image:NewOrleansFrenchQuarter.jpeg

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:NewOrleansFrenchQuarter.jpeg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:NewOrleansFrenchQuarter.jpeg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:NewOrleansFrenchQuarter.jpeg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:21, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wound badge.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wound badge.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:56, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Battle of Mogadishu

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article The Battle of Mogadishu, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of John Stebbins

edit

The article John Stebbins has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Stanleyneworleans.jpeg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Stanleyneworleans.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 17:46, 21 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
