Hello, JasminePflepsen, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Section headings

edit

Hi, Jasmine. Thanks for your great copy-edit to letter (alphabet). Just so you know, Wikipedia's Manual of Style (MoS) calls for all section headings to be in "sentence case" (i.e., with the first letter capitalized, and subsequent letters only capitalized if they would be normally). The relevant section is MOS:SECTIONHEAD. If you plan on copy-editing here, I'd encourage you to take a look at the MoS. You may also find Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/How to helpful; it links to a number of other guides, including Tony1's guide to the MoS and the GOCE's official guide to copy-editing. I hope this doesn't deter you from continuing to contribute. You're doing good work, and I hope you keep it up! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 23:48, 30 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
