Gay Asians of Toronto

edit

There's a difference between providing a bit of historical context in an article that's still fundamentally about the group itself, and delving into so much broader historical context that it's crossed over into being an article about that historical context instead of an article about the group — and as written, the current version of the article has overshot that line by several miles. The article would need to be tremendously rewritten, to put the focus squarely on the group itself rather than the entire social history of all LGBT people of Asian descent in all of North America, and the referencing would need to be to reliable source media coverage in which the group itself — not the general phenomenon of LGBT Asians, but the group itself as a group — is the subject of that coverage.   Hello, I'm Lankiveil. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Gay Asians of Toronto— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Lankiveil (speak to me) 02:04, 15 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
