Proposed deletion of Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali edit

The article Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Climate change WikiProject proposal edit

I've changed your proposal quite a bit to make it more neutral. I added as one of the aims of the project to help each other communicate neutrally about the science of climate change. With mass media communicating about this in a polarized fashion, sometimes being way more alarmist than the science warrants, it is important that we find terminology that does climate change just without exaggerating or framing it.

I think, and I might be wrong, that you are quite passionate about combating climate change. To be fair, I'm as well. I'm thinking about writing an essay about how to contribute neutrally to Wikipedia for editors that do feel passionate about this. Passion can cloud judgement a bit, but if people are aware of their biases, they might actually become better editors than people who are completely blind to biases in public communication.

The essay would contain a discussion of some common public communication. For instance, that the Guardian is a high-quality but biased source, whereas NASA is more neutral. Would you be interested in an essay like that? Femke Nijsse (talk) 13:35, 15 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
