Phone Zone, Inc.

edit

Phone Zone, Inc. has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this company might not be notable enough for an article. Please review the relevant guidelines at WP:CORP. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. NickelShoe 02:54, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

This, of course, also goes for Phone Zone. Also check out Wikipedia:Redirect for how to use multiple titles without duplicating the text and effort maintaining identical articles. NickelShoe 03:15, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Dueoepwiki.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Dueoepwiki.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Chris Burke-Gaffney

edit

Hi there, just a note of advice: you could have solved your capitalisation problem with Chris burke-gaffney by renaming it, rather than deleting one page and starting another. If you get a similar problem again, you can solve it by clicking the 'move' tab at the top of the page, and typing in the correct title of the page in the appropriate box. Good luck, and get back to me if this isn't clear! Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 22:14, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

I saw that you removed my article issues tags from this article. Please don't do that without addressing the issues in the article and explaining your edits in an edit summary and on the article talk page. Thanks. – ukexpat (talk) 21:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Innis Maggiore

edit

A tag has been placed on Innis Maggiore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 20:29, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

An image that you uploaded, Image:Kyleriabkowiki.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 02:23, 19 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest policy

edit

  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. [1] --Ronz (talk) 21:23, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Shearersfoods.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Shearersfoods.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:35, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Shearersfoods.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 07:53, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
