Renominate Vector space for FA?

Hey,

I will be on holiday soon. I think the article vector space is almost FACable. Would you be interested in renominating it? I'd be glad to help out. Randomblue (talk) 08:47, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

It's always worth a try. Did you have a look at the failed previous FAC? Since then, not much has changed. I didn't agree with some of the FAC critiques, but certainly the FAC did show shortcomings in terms of accessibility and prose. This may not be terribly hard to amend, but I'm sure it will still be quite some work. After the FAC failed I thought it would be good to have a committed outsider, perhaps a chemist or even further away from maths to read it and tell what he/she understands. Do you know one? I also don't agree with some of the FAC comments. I will start working on the lead soonish. Indeed, I think the article is reasonably accessible but readers may lose confidence right from the lead. A very easy lead would make the whole article less scary. I'll ask non-mathmos to give it a read. Randomblue (talk) 17:21, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
