Listening

edit

Look at things this way: say you were running a Hells Angels group, and someone wanted to join. They turn out to have a 50cc scooter. What would you do? Wikipedia is 'free to edit', but it has rules. We're not going to beat you up, but attacks in words can lead to blocking. I'm not offended - I can see why you are getting mad. But I would like you to listen to the advice I've given. I do hope you succeed in getting the park. But we cannot help you to do that. If the campaign gets enough notability, we will record it. But not until. This isn't just you. We delete things on all sorts of subjects - some junk, some heart-rending appeals. We have rules, and no copyright violations is one, and no advertising is another. Read the above post, think, and do some research. And whatever else I might be, I'm not fat - I'm fit... Peridon (talk) 21:02, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

A word of unsolicited advice

edit

I assume by your username and from this edit that you are the Jake Mason, head of advertising for Congresbury Skatepark. Cursing at other users publicly as you have here, isn't going to go over well. It's not going to make anyone listen to you, help you, or help your cause. It's only going to bring bad press to the organization you are charge with bringing good press to. I'd be happy to help you out in this situation, if I can, but until then, knock it off. Your not helping anything at the moment. OlYeller21Talktome 21:09, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ensinger

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ensinger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tdl1060 (talk) 20:27, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
