Speedy deletion nomination of Jill calder

edit

Hello Jacobtoller,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jill calder for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 12:34, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have "userfied" the page for you to User:Jacobtoller/Jill Calder where you can work on it. You can click the blue button when it is ready, but it would not be accepted in its present state. Read WP:Your first article to see what is needed for an acceptable article, and note in particular that Wikipedia is quite choosy about article subjects. The test for acceptance is called Wikipedia:Notability, and is not a matter of saying so but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject".
