Ways to improve Pukkoya Tangal edit

Hello, JaavedAli,

Thanks for creating Pukkoya Tangal! I edit here too, under the username Willbb234 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Excessive use of weasel words.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Willbb234}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Willbb234: If you can point out the words, I can fix them one by one - JaavedAli (talk) 09:03, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Of course! Here they are: (see WP:WEASEL)
  • 'He was widely believed to posses'
  • 'The tangal is also said to be'
  • 'revered Indian' and 'was revered for his saintly qualities'
Also, references shouldn't be included in the header - there is one in the Pukkoya family (Panakkad) section.
I hope that helps, Willbb234 (talk) 09:42, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Something else: the use of 'saintly qualities' violates WP:NPOV see MOS:ISLAMHON#Quran for an example. I will probably remove this phrase unless there is adequate reason not to. Willbb234 (talk) 09:50, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Willbb234:

@Willbb234:

You can add the phrase "Most members of [this community] believe" wherever you want in the article.

JaavedAli (talk) 07:07, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

What community? I can't view the books because I don't have them and there is only limited viewing on google books. Willbb234 (talk) 11:22, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm not going to buy the book. Instead. can you quote some passages from the book showing the significance of Pukkoya Tangal to the Mappila Community? Willbb234 (talk) 10:43, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
