Proposed deletion of Nikhil Popat

edit

The article Nikhil Popat has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Harry Karumbah

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Harry Karumbah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. JetBlast (talk) 16:28, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mack Schaer

edit

Hello, JOSHNIGERIA. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mack Schaer, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Mack Schaer to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 16:44, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Ricardo Pedro Núñez

edit

The article Ricardo Pedro Núñez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nunez competed in the 1925 Lima marathon. As far as I can tell we lack an article on the Lima marathon. I did find List of marathon races in South America which includes 5 races, none of which pre-date the 1980s. So it is less than clear that this was a notable race at all. Even winning a marathon only makes one notable in the case of only a very few races. We have no claim that Nunez won the marathon, just that he competed, which I am not sure is actually a sign of notability for any marathon race at all. Even if he had won the race and it was a truly notable race we would still need sourcing to show notability. We have no sources and the article has been tagged as without sources for over 9 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 4 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
