The article John Francis Healy has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - Thank you for your note at my talk page. I'm sorry if you're unhappy that the article was deleted, but even so it is inappropriate to compromise another article. David Eppstein as an administrator procedurally closed the deletion proposal about which you were notified above by User:NatGertler. As explained there, articles about living people must have sources; this is Wikipedia's policy to ensure that content that may affect people who are still alive is proper. Guidance on how to address that is included in Nat Gertler's note. All that's really need are reliable sources (such as magazine articles, newspaper articles, industry websites) to verify the contents. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:13, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
- It is the responsibility of contributors who add content to provide proper sourcing. The note on your page above provides links to pages that will show you how to do so. With respect to compromising the article, perhaps your removal of content from the article David Eppstein was, as I indicated above, unintentional, but I'm afraid that removing the infobox and two paragraphs from an article as you did here does compromise it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:53, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
