Welcome!

edit

Hello, JMwangi98, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

BA Peer Review

edit
  • the lead section shouldn't need many, if any, citations because it should summarize the contents of the body of the article
  • the lead section is fairly specific and should only be a summary of the major points of the article, details should be provided in separate sections
  • explicitly state that BHB refers to ß-hydroxybutyrate at some point before using "BHB"
  • add links to other articles for relevant words
  • the image for sodium BHB should be updated/changed to show the positive charge on the sodium ion, and the negative charge on the adjacent oxygen atom
  • some of the wording could be made more concise
  • in-text citations at the end of a sentence should come after the period
