Wild Fermentation edit

Yay :) I know the author - haven't read the book yet, though. But eaten quite a few of the recipes! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 06:11, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cool. I always have a couple things fermenting in my kitchen, thanks to Sandor. I got to meet him last summer when he did a workshop in Seattle.

I see on your talk page that you are writing about Sewanee. Do you know Dr. Fuller? JBazuzi 18:03, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry - missed your question! No, I haven't met him. Is he teaching there? I graduated in '89 and haven't been back much since about '94. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 01:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure that Shymalan's character was that notable, even to the point of unseen, as per your edit. Maybe convince me? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 15:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you suggesting that the character should be removed entirely from the list, because the character had such a minor role in the film? If so, I can see your point, but I think the character's importance is elevated by the fact that he's played by the writer/director, which is part of a Hitchcock-like pattern -- Shyamalan has appeared in every one of his movies. In fact, in this case, it's notable that he _doesn't_ appear on screen, breaking the pattern. However, I don't feel strongly about this either way; if you want to make a change, go for it.
