November 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Brianhe. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Talk:Actifio without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Brianhe (talk) 14:06, 1 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Previewing edits edit

It looks like you may not know about the "preview" feature. I'll leave a boilerplate message below. Sorry if the tone sounds chiding, that's just the way it's written. But it is sort of helpful.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "save page" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. - Brianhe (talk) 20:07, 1 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

November 3, 2016 edit

Please work to be more civil in your discussions on Wikipedia. While some of your comments seem constructive, others may come across as a personal attack. I suggest you start with the essay Wikipedia:How to be civil and go from there. Failure to maintain a civil tone could lead to your account being blocked.

    • Anyway, I don't agree with your assessment of my comment. You never did specify in detail what your beef was, so I assume it's some sort of gratuitous attack against me. I suppose since Donald marked me as a trouble maker I'm going to be under intense scrutiny. I can't operate like that. So I've decided to abandon any hopes of contributing to WP. I can't close my account but I do believe there's way to disable it to a degree. I just wanted to come back before I left and tell you what I thought. Regards. I assure you I won't be back, so need to worry about me.

November 2016 edit

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at [[:Bobrisky]]. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Music Boy50 (talk) 20:35, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Retired edit

J.M., per your comment above [1] I will mark your userpage "retired". You are welcome to return any time you like, just remove the notice from your userpage. Best of luck - Brianhe (talk) 00:01, 5 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
