Thanks for the response. I'm not quite sure... I don't necessarily think the new format is positively worse, but it does seem to go against the preference for natural disambiguation over parentheticals (though this is might be outweighed by the fact that non-present year ranges use them). Since many of these are quite long-standing articles, prior discussion would have been preferable IMO, but I don't feel that strongly about it. Maybe consider reverting and doing an RM if someone else also raises concerns. --Paul_012 (talk) 06:01, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
