ESyndiCat edit

A tag has been placed on ESyndiCat, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Whispering 11:26, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Subrion CMS edit

I have nominated Subrion CMS, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Subrion CMS. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. 16x9 (talk) 17:39, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue spamming Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing.--Hu12 (talk) 10:26, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Intelliants (talk) 10:45, 2 August 2012 (UTC) I don't understand the reason for the spam. Why did you mark it for deletion? I don't understand. Here is an example from the list that looks ugly and hardly works! http://www.getpixie.co.uk/ It's simply dead! Please explain! What reasons allow posting CMSes from 90ties like this one (http://nucleuscms.org/) and forbid placement of the actual cms? What reasons make you feel it's ok to keep that one and not to place ours? Thanks Please check the list carefully: RavenNuke CMS PHP MySQL 2.4.0 GPL 2009-10-12 What's that? Is that a cms? It more looks like a hosting website, why do you allow its placement? I can provide more confusing results from this list!Reply

The nature of Wikipedia means that you can't make a convincing argument based on what other links in articles do or don't exist; because there's nothing stopping anyone from adding any link to any article. Plenty of links exist that probably shouldn't, conversly many links don't exist that probably should. So just pointing out that a link exists in an article doesn't prove that the link in question should also exist.
Unfortunately your editing involves contributing to Wikipedia in order to promote Subrion CMS. Your contributions to wikipedia consist entirely of adding external links or creating articles about Subrion CMS, and is considered WP:Spam. Wikipedia is NOT a "vehicle for advertising". Intelliants, LLC edit

Hello, Intelliants. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.--Hu12 (talk) 16:27, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2015 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Request reason:

Your reason here Sorry, I might have missed that information. I created a new account, what do I need to restore the page back. It's an actual CMS under active development, I'm indeed affiliated with the software but all CMSes have the same situation. More of them are dead now in the list.

Decline reason:

You're not going to be unblocked if your only intention is to advertise a non-notable piece of software. OhNoitsJamie Talk 12:42, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
