Infobox

edit

I may look into the matter since you have brought it up. You can certainly feel free to try again and boldly copy a successful user box from another film, changing the information that needs changing for your new films. All I meant by "unsuccessful" is that the box didn't actually show up based on whatever you had there. Good luck in your future editing, and remember it's actually policy here to be bold. Question asked in the Miscellaneous FAQ

edit

Hi! You recently posted a question about printing articles in the Miscellaneous FAQ. Since this is not the right place to ask questions, I have moved your question to the Help desk. Please look for answers at the Help desk. Thanks. --Tkynerd 14:00, 18 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome! (Referring to the thanks on my page.) I hope the answer you got was satisfactory. --Tkynerd 16:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dinosaurs articles

edit

What's the deal with your edits to the Dinosaurs characters articles? I'm discussing Baby Sinclair in particular. You replaced all of the information in the article, including the image, with not-always NPOV info from the Muppet Wiki--quite a brash move. The text in the Muppet Wiki appears to be copyrighted, too, so I'm not so sure that it's not a copyright violation to paste it all into Wikipedia. --Brandon Dilbeck 23:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fawlty Towers (stage show)

edit

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Fawlty Towers (stage show), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- MisterHand 13:43, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Template:Universal Horror

edit

Please explain your deletions. Yes, the template is large, but it's a large area. Please explain why you feel Captive Wild Woman does not belong. I've never seen this film, and don't have any emotion behind the argument that it belongs in, but I think Universal has the final say with this image: [1]. That says to me that it indisputably belongs on the list. --Scottandrewhutchins 14:33, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Army Men (series)

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Army Men (series). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Army Men (series). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 31 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Grainger Games

edit

A tag has been placed on Grainger Games, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — dαlus Contribs 04:28, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Grainger Games

A tag has been placed on Grainger Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
