I'm Tesseractic and I want to welcome you to Wikipedia!

Wikipedia is an amazing community adventure which is constantly being edited. There are many different versions of Wikipedia for many different languages, and the English version has 6,839,826 articles which are written by volunteers like you and me! We even have a newspaper, The Signpost, to keep you up to date with news and new developments. Making your first steps on Wikipedia can be hard sometimes, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page or ask a question on your talk page . Someone will help you soon!

Wikipedia has five pillars which summarise Wikipedia's fundamental principles:

1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
2. Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view
3. Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit, and distribute
4. Editors should treat each other with respect and civility
5. Wikipedia has no firm rules

Hi Inajd0101, welcome to Wikipedia. As a new contributor to the encylopedia, I recommend you focus on first improving articles of interest to you, such as Frankie Lymon and those related to him, and not worry about things like categories, image files, templates, etc. until you get comfortable with editing. If you end up creating articles, be sure to read WP:FIRST, and make sure anything you add to existing articles can be verified with proper sourcing. You should also use the available help out there for you. Most experienced editors are very willing to help out, so it's better to ask than try to figure it out on your own. Thanks and happy editing. Like I mentioned before, you should probably stay away from the creation of new categories until you understand their purpose better.
