Thanks for creating these maps, but not all of them provide much value for their species articles. In particular, the house sparrow map could really just be a map of where birders are for most of its range: house sparrows are present in small numbers even in remote, northern rural areas, and many of the areas marked as summer-only are just areas neglected by birders; areas with less birders on eBird, like the CIS, the Middle East, and southern Africa have very incomplete records; there are some most likely false records in China and Japan. In my opinion, there is not enough information on the map not conveyed by the simplified range map and the text to justify its inclusion in the article.
