Reporting someone for edit warring

You pinged me asking if there is anything you can do to prevent someone edit warring, you can report someone for this behaviour at WP:AN3. Regards. --TylerBurden (talk) 18:54, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Case (talk) 22:16, 16 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  signed, Rosguill talk 19:41, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
What other abusing multiple accounts? You definitely made a mistake. Ilnur efende (talk) 19:46, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
The full reasoning for the block, is given here. signed, Rosguill talk 19:49, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
The fact that we are interested in one topic - Tatarstan, is explained by the fact that we live there. And these pages are in the watch lists. The funny thing is that on the basis of this alone, you took us for one person. We are mostly active in Russian and Tatar Wikipedia. We are also members of Tatar-speaking Wikimedians, we have open groups in telegram, where we both belong. Ilnur efende (talk) 19:56, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
The specific allegation you'll need to address in an unblock request is meatpuppetry--your editing history, plus your admission of working together in a Telegram group, suggests that you are improperly colluding together with Bolgarhistory to oppose RedBull's edits. signed, Rosguill talk 19:58, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is an open group, and such topics are not discussed there. The fact that Red bull started a war of edits six months ago with two participants, and began canceling the contribution of two users at once, does not indicate collusion. Ilnur efende (talk) 20:03, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Rosguill, I have tried several times for six months to get an explanation of his right from user Redbull, asked questions, requested what he was referring to by making edits. Even the other day I re-sent him links to sources and rules on this topic to his discussion page. But there was no response from him, he just continued the war of edits. Ilnur efende (talk) 20:15, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Even by asking the participants in the Russian Wikipedia or in the Tatar Wikipedia, you can make sure that we are different participants. Ilnur efende (talk) 19:58, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

An administrator has blocked me and Bolgarhistory

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 21:03, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

. User Redbull started canceling our contribution, waging a war of edits. The fact that we are interested in one topic on Wikipedia is explained by the fact that we are from the same region, we are just from common group in the Tatarstan.--Ilnur efende (talk) 20:10, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

The administrator was not even confused by the fact that only we tried to discuss something on this topic. Both on the opponent's page and on other pages. Red bull just silently waged a war of edits, and only turned to one of the administrators with a question where he could complain. There was no search for consensus on his part. Request reason:

I ask you to unblock me or give me a lock with a certain period. I admit that I was wrong to wage a war of edits, and I did not need to succumb to provocations from the Redbull1984 user. Before the war of edits, of course, I tried several times to have a conversation with this user (including six months ago). however, I did not see any response from the user. We also tried to attract a third party, but the user also continued the war of edits. Henceforth, in such cases, I will contact the Wikipedia administrators in such cases. I am a participant from Tatarstan and mostly in the English Wikipedia I look through topics related to this republic. Ilnur efende (talk) 10:15, 27 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Putting an end date on the block does nothing in terms of you convincing us we should unblock you. Blocks are not a punishment, but a means of preventing disruption, and the block can be removed when we are convinced there will be no more disruption. I'm not sure there is a pathway forward without a topic ban Tatar related topics, so we will need to know what edits you will make instead. 331dot (talk) 08:37, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

User:331dot . If you look at my contribution, you can see that I checked the pages related to Tatars and Tatarstan. However, the user RedBull1984 decided to independently request a source for the transliteration of the Tatar language, referring that he did not know it, I provided him with a source for the rules of transliteration, but he was not happy with this, answering that he did not want to learn it, and demanded a source for every Tatar word. And according to the rules of Wikipedia, no transliteration sources are needed. However, for some reason I was blocked, and a colleague of the Bolgarhistory user. And the provocateur didn't even get a warning. Don't you think that it is necessary to limit the user who does not understand the Tatar theme at all, but only conducts a provocative war?--Ilnur efende (talk) 08:48, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

For example, the user MR973, for the same edits, was blocked in the Russian Wikipedia, but decided to promote his research and forgery in the English Wikipedia: officially there is no alphabet of the Siberian Tatar language, as well as literary norms, self-names have also been removed, which were added by consensus. But now no one is interested in this topic here, and no one checks the topics related to the Tatars.--Ilnur efende (talk) 08:56, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

While blocked you should only be discussing your own actions in order to be unblocked, see WP:NOTTHEM. You may make a new request for someone else to review. 331dot (talk) 08:57, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
