Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Maximum break. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 11:28, 22 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on Talk:Maximum break, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 16:54, 22 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please give advice for a more suitable place to note Geoffry Hilt and his accomplishments as an ambassador for people with Downs Syndrome (Category 3 and above) within Snooker and the refereeing of snooker. Iknowalltheanswers (talk) 14:06, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you think you can create an article about him. But be aware that you need reliable third party sources to establish notability. Without it the article will most likely deleted. Armbrust Talk Contribs 14:10, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the info, but Geoffry Hilt bores me too much to make an article about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iknowalltheanswers (talkcontribs) 16:21, 23 September 2010

Proposed deletion of Geoffry Hilt

edit

The article Geoffry Hilt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Hoax, springing from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Maximum_break#The_infinite_break.3F I can find no evidence that Sponglethwaite, Wilkshire, "Category 5 Down Syndrome" or the record 162 break exist.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Irn (talk) 22:26, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Geoffry Hilt

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Geoffry Hilt, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Clench, Wiltshire, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I've noticed that most of your recent edits appear to be either vandalism or hoaxes. The article you have created, Clench, Wiltshire was first a hoax but has now been restored to meet Wikipedia's standards. Jaguar (talk) 15:21, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Clench, Wiltshire, you may be blocked from editing. Jaguar (talk) 15:31, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I found this last remark very non-constructive. To label my editing as 'vandalism' where I aim only to better the article is infuriating. I shall take this matter to higher powers.
Almost all of your contributions have been marked as vandalism. If you're unsure on what vandalism on Wikipedia can do, see WP:VANDAL. Jaguar (talk) 15:44, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
