accurate meanings and time correlations

Hi, please do not use misleading edit summary text, as you did at Isaiah 7:14. You removed "or virgin" as a proposed translation for 'almah', which is the most substantial and relevant point of notability for this subject. It was not a 'minor' edit that you made, nor did you correct a 'typo'. Thank you. Zad68 (talk) 13:03, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

dear Zab68, a typo is the inclusion of words that are out of place. I do not know about the "notability for this subject" part, but i can imagine that is true, due to the documented history of mis-translations over time. I can understand the history of words and why one word would be used over another. I would love to see a much better article on this topic, including the changing and substituting of word meaning throughout time, because we both know that words change meanings as people use them, as we can experience even today in our own culture. i wish no enemies. nor do i wish ignorance. discuss both and all forms of this word and its meanings throughout time, that would be the best article possible. thank you.Ijil RHG (talk) 13:24, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

That's not what a typo is. A typo is when the published document does not reflect what was intended, either by misspelling or unintended inclusion of words or exclusion of words. The article Isaiah 7:14 fully intends to reflect that 'virgin' is a commonly considered translation of 'almah'. This is true regardless of whether or not you or I agree with it. I hope you understand now why your edit needed to be reverted. I agree that the article could definitely use a lot of improvement. P.S. You changed the title that I wrote for this section. It is considered very improper to change someone else's text and make it appear as if that the edited text is the original work of that person. You certainly would not someone else writing something you did not write and attributing it to you, I am sure. Take care... Zad68 (talk) 14:27, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
