Speedy deletion nomination of James Coyle British Teacher edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on James Coyle British Teacher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. NtheP (talk) 20:49, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

January 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Travelbird (talk) 12:10, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Travelbird (talk) 12:10, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Travelbird (talk) 12:17, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeated creation of article about a non-notable subject plus sockpuppetry. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

firstly, sorry about mistaked deletion of notice; secondly, as I see one more person was correcting that article at the same time, so something doubled

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  11:04, 22 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I understood what I was blocked for, thanks. That was my first experience to create an article. At the same time I continue to stay that I did not sockpuppet and I have and I use only one account. I am sure that is very easy to check by ip address. Ihorpa (talk) 11:33, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You'll need a more convincing explanation why Nemets777 (talk · contribs) popped out of nowhere and started to recreate that article with the same text as you posted. Max Semenik (talk) 07:51, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

The pop-up user (whom you mentioned) is a real person it is not me and it’s not a mine additional log. Please go to http://nemets-777.livejournal.com/ and check. I can not explain instead of the real different person what was the reason of that person and what that person did. I can only conjecture that that person might tried to help (contribute) or just did mistake… If I would person who likes to have several logs I would not be asking to unblock my own log name, but open a different and use it quietly– is that not clear? So, I still hope that someone could give me opportunity to contribute to the wiki with my own nickname and not to waste your and my time by writing&reading explanation what I did not act to. ThanksIhorpa (talk) 17:18, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Accept reason:

After consulting with the blocking admin, Favonian, you have been unblocked and given another chance. I know you say you were not socking, but please be aware of the rules against using more than one account for unconstructive or disruptive reasons. Also, you really need to be sure you understand Wikipedia's notability requirements before you create any more new articles. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:44, 4 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

.

May I enquire what sort of editing you would be doing if someone is convinced that you weren't using multiple accounts and unblocks you? (Personally, I'm inclined to refer you to WP:DUCK...) By the way, we talk of accounts and usernames here, and not logs and nicknames. Peridon (talk) 16:04, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
You are absolutely right: about accounts and usernames, sorry for imprecisions. What kind of conributions (editings)- very wide, I have two master of science degrees from the US and Russian institutions, have been visited 32 countries, speak 4 languages...what do you want to know more? I am ready to unswer - just ask!Ihorpa (talk) 17:18, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Personally, I'm not convinced that Ihorpa and Nemets777 are not the same user. Seriously, identical text? Identical formatting? This is, of course, one of those situations where honesty will actually lead to the better decision overall. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:18, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
In any case, that was a year ago. Shouldn't we move on? An almost year-long block should have been enough to convince him not to do that again. -- Luk talk 10:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
