I've started a discussion of the "politician" issue at Talk:Thaksin Shinawatra#Politician?, which is the proper place for it. I note that another editor agrees with me and has also reverted your removal of the word "politician" from the lead. That currently puts you in a minority, so please do not remove the word "politician" from the lead again, unless you can first gain a consensus on the Talk page to do so.
